Fostering Christmas Team
Donate To Our Hygiene Drive Through May 31!
Updated: May 9
This year, the Fostering Christmas team is marking National Teen Self-Esteem Month in May with a Hygiene Drive! Throughout the month of May, we’re collecting soap, deodorant, period products, and other toiletries to help Ada and Canyon County foster teens feel clean and confident. These products only cost a few dollars, but their impact on a child's confidence and self-esteem can be life-changing.
To join the drive, drop off items from the list below in our collection bin at 391 N. Ancestor Place, Suite 100, in Boise, or mail a check to Fostering Christmas at that address. All donations must be brand-new and unopened.
Self-Esteem Boosters Foster Teens Need
Soap (unscented preferred)
Period products (e.g., tampons, pads, menstrual cups)
Hair cleaning products
Hair styling products (e.g., gel, hairspray, hair oil)

Masculine body spray (e.g., AXE)

If you choose to send a check, 100% of the money you donate will go toward these and other much-needed items for Idaho foster kids.
The drive began on Monday, May 1, and we’re collecting donations through Wednesday, May 31. Donation today to boost a foster teen’s confidence and help turn their life around!
