We want to extend a resounding THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to our May Hygiene Drive or helped spread the word. We’re so excited to provide another helpful service to our area’s foster youth and expand Fostering Christmas’s reach within the community. The entire team is overjoyed and proud of the difference we’ve made.
Our Treasure Valley community members donated 15 boxes of hygiene supplies for foster youth, including soap, shampoo, period products, deodorant, toothpaste, and more. We also received an additional $270 in financial contributions, and our volunteers used every dollar to purchase additional supplies. Altogether, we delivered 17 boxes of much-needed personal care items to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, where they’ll benefit youth newly entering the foster care system.
Your generosity will make a difference in many teens’ lives and give them one less source of worry during a tumultuous time. Thank you again for showing up — we couldn’t have done it without your support!
Foster children need support year-round, so Fostering Christmas is excited to continue finding new ways to help. Stay tuned for future opportunities to contribute to some of the most vulnerable members of our community and show them their neighbors care. Together we can accomplish great things!
