Join Fostering Christmas To Keep The Holiday Magic Alive For Children In Foster Care

Folks, Fostering Christmas is close to reaching our goal. We’re bringing Christmas gifts to every foster child in Ada and Canyon Counties. We’re so close — but when the stakes are this high, “close” just won’t cut it!

Every year, Fostering Christmas delivers hundreds of presents to local children who enter the foster care system after Thanksgiving. This is the cut-off date for the Salvation Army’s own gift-giving program. We make sure those kids don’t go without a real Christmas morning. And every year, we get your help in doing it.

In 2019, we delivered presents to 229 foster children, and in 2020, we bought presents for 89 kids. We also spent more than $3,000 getting them stocking stuffers and essentials like deodorant, shampoo, and personal hygiene products. But this is year 2 of a global pandemic, and our partners warned us we’d really have our hands full. They were right. Wish lists are pouring in!

We have never failed a foster child in all our years of doing this, and we aren’t going to let it happen now. But without more sponsors, we don’t know how we’re going to succeed.

If you’d like to join our cause, please click here and choose a Christmas wish list to fulfill for a foster child. You can also call us at 208-609-4554 or email us at Info@fosteringchristmas.com. We’ll help you pick a child’s list. Then, we’ll send instructions for how to buy the presents on it and send them to us. After that, we take care of the rest!

Please, show a foster child their community loves and cares about them. Please help give them Christmas. Together, we can keep the magic alive.

The nonprofit Fostering Christmas was created by Newsletter Pro CEO Shaun Buck. He first started helping foster kids in 2014. Learn more at FosteringChristmas.org.
