Fostering Christmas Is Making the News

The most crucial aspect of any fundraising effort is gaining exposure. Unfortunately, it’s also the most difficult. With so many causes to support, it can be challenging to break through all the noise. So, it felt like a Christmas Miracle last year when KTVB featured Fostering Christmas during a television news segment and in an online article.

The story helped at least 132 volunteers and donors find us, resulting in hundreds of additional presents reaching foster children. Without their support, we couldn’t have filled all 328 wish lists in 2021. But we made it happen together. And in 2022, we’re facing an even bigger challenge.

Even with our name in the news, we can use your help spreading the word! The more community members we bring into the fold, the better. With sponsors of other gift programs for foster children dropping their funding in 2022, Fostering Christmas is aiming to make up the difference. We expect it to be another record-breaking year, but we can’t make it happen without everyone’s help!

Remember that we’re still looking for volunteers, and we’ll have many Christmas lists up for grabs. Tell your family, friends, and neighbors about our work and why it’s so important! Together, we can make Christmas magical for hundreds of in-need foster kids.
